BINARY NAMING
It's common to try and memorize names for ionic and covalent compounds, but this is a lot of unnecessary work! Your periodic table is your friend. The more you see it's patterns, the easier it will be to understand why atoms and ions group together, in what proportions, and how naming reflects those proportions.
